The United Ferucci simulation
The simulation places the participants in a situation where the central and local management committees are not playing the game. They try to dodge obligations relating to information and consultation set out in the directive on European Works Councils by negotiating at a local level matters which are subject to global arrangements, i.e. the restructuring of several production sites. If the representatives of the various sites do not communicate the information, the strategy of the central management would likely appear only as a reduction in production for certain sites. The strategy of the management becomes evident from the time when all the sites have all the information on the increases/reductions in production of the other sites.
